Leigh-Ann died this morning at 7:15 am Canada time.

Steve and all of Leigh Ann's family. I have logged in a number of times today to see how Leigh Ann was doing knowing that she was nearing the end of her life. My heart goes out to you all to find she has passed away. I am full of mixed emotions, shocked even though it was inevitable, very saddened that a beautiful ray of sunshine has gone out yet grateful and relieved that her illness was short lived and happy in the knowledge that you have all done your utmost to take care of our delightful and beautiful friend. Thankful that she was able to have some truly wonderful experiences in her last few weeks of life all made possible by you - her loving husband and family. My heart goes out to you all at this truly sad time. Bless you all. Hugs and kisses all round. You are all magnificent people and have done a marvellous job. Thank you for sharing all the moments you have with everyone who has ever known Leigh Ann at what has probably been the most difficult time of your lives. It has allowed us all to feel close to her and share the tragic events. I don't know how you have all remained so strong to do it. I hope and pray that I have learnt from you all Leigh Ann included that life can be lived right up to the very end. Leigh my lovely friend I hope you are now at peace. You will be forever in my thoughts. I am so so sorry that I will never see you again at least in this life. R.I.P Lx

So sorry to hear this, May the blessings of our Lord be with you all during this trying time. Thank you all for being there for her when you were needed most. Steve - special thanks to you for this blog. It must have been very hard to write, but although its story has been a sad one, it has never been 'weepy'. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I also shed more than a few tears upon reading this; I felt in my heart that time was disappearing rapidly for Leigh-Ann, though still shocked even though we were all expecting this. I am so very sad not to be able to spend time with such a lovely person in the future, a truly kind, gentle, fun soul leaving my life will leave a hole that no one else will fill - I feel for all of Leigh-Ann's wonderful family and friends who have known her so much longer than me and for you, Steve, having found your soul mate, who has now moved on, but I am sure she will be watching over all of us with a big smile on her face.
