46) Shopmobility - 4th December

There are only three weeks left until Christmas.

Leigh-Ann and Earla both had dental appointments. I know what you are thinking! Why does someone with terminal cancer go to the dentists? Well, I have the answer. To get their teeth cleaned of course.

Afterwards the sisters went shopping. Being slightly disabled does a have a few advantages: disabled parking slots and mobility scooters in big stores.

Leigh-Ann borrowed a scooter and completed her shopping in record time.

We leave Canada on Friday for Maui, Hawaii. I have booked a 10 day honeymoon for my new wife and I. Leigh-Ann is still ill, of course, but she is doing so much better on the new medication that she feels confident enough to fly.

I am not so confident about looking after her but it is her wish and I cannot refuse her. We are going.

This evening we men (Michael, Oliver and I) were treated by the girls (Emily, Earla and Leigh-Ann) to a lovely gourmet dinner at the Copper Room at the Harrison Hot Springs hotel. I am still not sure why?

Another nice day.

  4. Hi guys, you go and do what you gotta do, never mind about anything else, take it in your stride. Look after each other and leave the world behind. Nothing is more important than spending one on one time with the one you truly love, nothing.
God knows you may not have an excess of time, so every minute you share just becomes that more precious. I hope you have a wondrous belated honeymoon. All of your friends wish you bon voyage, a love and fun filled honeymoon and a very safe return to the bosom of your family. Go and do it, no regrets and don't hold back. xxxxx Allen
